Our Security Procedures
The Planet Companies maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your Personal Information. Except as permitted or required by law, access to Personal Information is restricted to those employees who require it in order to provide the products that you request and the service that you expect.
We do not sell the information we collect about our customers to third parties.
How We Handle Joint Accountholders
We will treat an Opt-Out by one co-borrower as an Opt-Out by all co-borrowers. If one or more co-borrowers would like to permit the sharing of Personal Information, they can either include a note on the Opt-Out form completed by another co-borrower or they can send a letter separately to the address listed on the Opt-Out form.
The Personal Information That We Collect
The Personal Information collected by The Planet Companies about you may include:
Certain information received from you on applications or other forms, such as your income, marital status, occupation, assets and liabilities;
Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as your account balance, payment history, and parties to transactions;
Information received from consumer reporting agencies, such as your credit score or credit history;
Information obtained to verify representations made by you, such as amounts you owe on credit cards and open lines of credit;
Information obtained from a person regarding their employment, credit, or other relationship with you, such as your employment history.
If you use our Web Site: Information we receive from “cookies” (Cookies are small pieces of information our Web Site stores on a visitor’s Web browser to remind the site about the visitor the next time that they visit the site).

To provide you with superior service, inform you of product and service opportunities, and for other business purposes, we may disclose your non-public Personal Information to affiliates that we own or control or that own or control us:

With Unaffiliated Third Parties as Permitted by Law
As permitted by law, we will sometimes disclose your Personal Information to non-affiliated third parties that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. We may also share your Personal Information in the course of doing business, for example, we may share information with consumer reporting agencies, businesses used to assist with servicing, and to protect against fraud.
With Other Unaffiliated Third Parties. We may share your Personal Information with financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements to offer products and services that we think may be of value or interest to you. We may also share your Personal Information with the following types of unaffiliated companies:

How You Can Opt-Out
If you prefer that The Planet Companies not disclose Personal Information about you to non-affiliated third parties, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). You may direct us not to share this information by completing the Opt-Out Form at the end of this notice and mailing it as directed.
No action is required by you at this time if you wish to permit information sharing as described in this notice. Please consider that if you opt-out of information sharing, your name may be, excluded from mailings or other communications that may be of interest to you. Examples may include information about special rate programs, special promotions or other direct marketing programs.
How You Can Opt-Out of Receiving Marketing Solicitations from Our Affiliates
As discussed above, we may share your Personal Information with affiliated companies or as permitted or required by law. Unless applicable law otherwise permits us to share information with our affiliates, you have the right to restrict the types of information that we share with affiliates.
Federal law gives you the right to limit some but not all marketing from our affiliates. You may limit our affiliates in the Green Planet group of companies, such as our credit card, insurance, and securities affiliates from marketing their products or services to you based on your personal information that we collect and share with them. This information includes your net worth, income and credit history.
Your choice to limit marketing offers from our affiliates will apply until you tell us to change your choice.
To limit marketing offers from our affiliates, complete the Opt-Out Form at the end of this notice and mail it as directed.
Please note that, even if you choose to opt out of our sharing your personal information with our affiliates for marketing purposes, we may still share that information with those companies as otherwise permitted by law. For example, if you currently do business with one of our affiliates, or if you ask to receive information or offers from them, we may share your information with those affiliates. In addition, we may still share information about your transactions and experiences with us (such as your name, payment history and similar information) with our affiliates for other than marketing purposes.
Former Customers
After you are no longer a customer of ours, we will continue to treat the non-public information we have about you as if you were still our customer.

Special Notice for Vermont Residents
In order to comply with Vermont law, we will automatically treat accounts with Vermont mailing addresses as if you have made the privacy choices listed above. In addition, if we disclose information about you to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements, we will only disclose your name, contact information and information about your transactions.
